TacitAdopt enables you to identify and invest in upcoming thought leaders in your industry. This is achieved through a process of bidding for popular and relevant TacitWorks, from the TacitKey bidding pool.
Place a competitive bid on a TacitWorks you are interested in, to win the opportunity to display your promotional message on the adopted TacitWorks. This will increase your market reach and ensure that your message reaches the maximum number of your consumers.
However, there are certain guidelines to be followed during the bidding process. We encourage you to follow the following guidelines to make the TacitAdopt process as seamless as possible.
Please provide your accurate information in your TacitKey profile, as this will be reflected in the TacitWorks you adopt. However, you do have the option to adopt works anonymously as well.
- You can adopt TacitWorks only if your profile is linked to a PayPal account.
You need to complete the financial transaction within the provided time limit in order to adopt the TacitWorks. If not, you will lose all the rights to adopt the specific TacitWorks and the next highest bidder will be contacted.
We encourage you to analyze the whole content before you bid on the content in order to avoid any issues after the adoption. Please note that all the TacitWorks are user-generated content, and as such, TacitKey is not liable for any of the content.
You cannot edit the TacitWorks that you have adopted. The rights to the TacitWorks solely rests with the content contributor. You can only add your brand name and promotional message to the adopted content for a fixed period of time, ie. 7 days.
Once you adopt a work, you can endorse it only for a period of 7 days, after which, it goes back to the bidding pool again. If you want to adopt the same content again, you will have to place a bid again.
Please do keep in mind that each bid you make will be considered as a binding contract to buy the item in case you win. Hence, not paying for the TacitWorks within the stipulated time period will affect your Keypoints Score.
TacitKey does not encourage bid manipulation of any kind. This can result in severe repercussions, including deactivation of the accounts involved in such activities.
The decisions made by TacitKey administrators regarding transfer of adoption rights and deactivation of accounts will be final and not subject to any deliberations.
