How to create a private Event? Print

Private events are only for members who belong to the particular Community, and cannot be used to invite other people.

To create an event, follow the usual process, but when it comes to choosing the Event type, the event organizer will have to choose PRIVATE to make the event a private one. To know more about how to create an event, read here.
